Camp Quality’s Supper Club presents Wonderland

It’s not often that Melbourne’s restaurant elite come together for one event, but this week sees our city’s finest chefs banding together for a very good cause.
Vue De Monde, Rockpool Bar & Grill, Red Spice Road, Taxi Dining Room, Bacash, Ezard, Hellenic Republic and Gingerboy are each donating a table for 12 for Camp Quality’s Supper Club, an initiative to support Camp Quality’s mission of creating a better life for every child living with cancer in Australia.
Now in its 10th year, the historically star-studded event has a Wonderland theme and will be hosted by comedian Josh Thomas and Masterchef favourite Justine Schofield.
The restaurants will pull out the stops to serve up a bespoke, gourmet dinner. All meals are matched with Champagne Taittinger and local wines from McWilliams.
The Wonderland theme continues post-dinner, with guests chauffeured to an after-party at the Supper Club.
Camp Quality’ event manager Nicole Dunn said the fundraising initiative had raised $5.5 million since it first began, with this year tipped to be the best yet.
“The 2013 theme was established with the help of some of our Camp Quality kids and we look forward to getting lost in Wonderland, with Mad Hatter’s Tea Parties taking over Australia’s swankiest restaurants in true Camp Quality style next month.
“Melbourne is the foodie capital of Australia so we are thrilled to have the continued support of so many outstanding restaurants, all of which will be dishing up an exceptional menu on May 16,” Ms Wilson said.
If you want to be treated like a star for a night, make sure you snag your ticket fast!
Camp Quality’s Melbourne Supper Club is happening this Thursday 16 May.
