“A Touch of…” presented by Bursaria Fine Foods will run alongside the popular Shirts and Skirts market in the Abbotsford Convent this Sunday. The event will combine rustic-style catering, contemporary fashion, art, culture and entertainment.

Passionate foodie and chef Sara O’Callaghan from Bursaria is the brains behind the idea.

“Being that the Abbotsford Convent is an arts and culture precinct, we wanted to do something really creative where the public could have somewhere they could sample our food and enjoy the markets,” said O’Callaghan.

Gone are the days of finger sandwiches and scones served on doilies. Guests will be treated to savoury canapés of seasonal produce as well as a selection of ‘roving desserts’ (think bite sized meringues and citrus tarts). A complimentary drink will be given on arrival. Creative cakes and pastries, homemade lemonade and Greek salad liquid shots are just some of the delights which will be served up this month.

Entertainment comes courtesy of Melbourne DJ Tin Lion and the glamorous, burlesque-inspired Bravo Darling girls.

“A Touch of…” will be held on the third Sunday of every month between 2pm - 4pm, running right through summer to winter.
Tickets $55 per person and must be pre-purchased by calling
