Footy, food and the weather are probably the three most important things Melbourne likes discussing, but there are no prizes for guessing which one of these is the most fun doing.
This weekend the Taste of Melbourne is touching down at an all-new venue. Formally held in the austere surrounds of the Royal Exhibition Building, this year Taste is going al fresco and setting up camp next to Albert Park lake.
As usual 15 local restaurants including Albert St Food & Wine and Movida will be producing special dishes for the occasional and serving up plenty of my personal favourite - samples.
Plus it wouldn’t be a Melbourne food event without a gaggle of celeb chefs doing their thing. This weekend the likes of Benjamin Cooper (Chin Chin), Darren Purchase (Burch & Purchase) and Chris Badenock (that dude from Masterchef and Josie Bones) will be hosting masterclasses and cooking demonstrations.
Did I mention they’d be heaps of samples?
WHEN: Thurs Nov 15 - Sunday Nov 18
