Two days left to Do it in a Dress

OK, so I’m a little late to the party on this one, but better late than never right?

Over the past month you may have seen the ladies or gents wearing a school dress around town, involved in doing some heroic task or other. No, they weren’t part of a hen’s night gone awry, these people were Doing it in a Dress. And doing it for a good cause.

One Girl is a non-profit organisation dedicated to giving women and girls in Sierra Leone access to education and a good start in life. Over the past year One Girl has been able to provide 150 education scholarships, and this October they’re asking me, you and your mates to help them give some more.

Do it in a Dress works like this: you can either register to it in a dress yourself, or sponsor someone doing it in a dress. $240 will give a Sierra Leone women access to education for a year, and so far One Girl has raised $203,999 which means 849 girls are back in school. This is awesome. But you’ve got until the end of October to make it ever more ace. Even Hughsey’s doing it in a dress. Make of that what you will.
