It’s time to drink loads of beer. There, I got your attention. Now come do it at our Melbournian Oktoberfest, brought to you by Red Hill brewery and Phat Brats (it’s a German hot dog stand, not colloquially awesome or overweight spoilt young individuals).

Over at Red Hill brewery’s first open weekend, you’ll find five brands of beer: Kolsch, Hefeweizen, Weizenbock, Sticke Alt, a new pilsener, and a special taste test of an up-and-comer for Red Hill Brewery.

There’ll be oompah tunes, beer, brewery tours, beer, paddles, beer, and loads of cheesy Bavarian shenangans. Dress up and get amongst it, half or full-tanked. There’s a prize for worst-dressed (a case and a stein), and souvenir steins available.

WHEN: Saturday/Sunday, 13/14 October
WHERE: Red Hill Brewery, 88 Shoreham Rd, Red Hill South
WEB: redhillbrewery.com.au, phatbrats.com.au
