Loins have been girded for ACMI’s upcoming Game of Thrones discussion panel, promising a taste of Comic-Con 2012 for all those who couldn’t make the trek to San Diego this year. It’s Essos versus Westeros, versus a panel of Melbourne’s pop-culture aficionados.
Author George Ivanoff joins Dr Djoymi Baker, Clementine Ford, and host Luke Ryan for this highly anticipated melee: a free-wheeling dissection of the politics, sex, and dragons that made the show’s first two seasons such a runaway success.
Bookings were essential for this now-sold out event (Comic-Con eat your heart out). But remember that ACMI podcasts their Live in the Studio events, so be sure to check out their website if you can’t make it along.
WHEN: Thursday 26 July, 7pm
WHERE: Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square
