Most geeks go a little weak at the knees at the mere mention of Comic-con, the annual event that started in San Diego that celebrates everything pop culture - from comics to films, games and toys - in short - everything that is rad.
This weekend Melbourne hosts its first Comic-con, and it looks like being a doozy. OK, I assume it’s going to be a doozy, because their crummy website has more holes in it that The Amazing Spiderman plot. But you can pretty much be assured they’ll be a lot of people in costumes of varying accomplishment, comic books and zombies. Plus the requisite C-grade celebrities that turn a buck peddling the comic-con circuit. It’s awesome.

Somewhere Else video sings of summer
It almost sounds like the premise of a reality TV show: pile a bunch of artists in a bus for seven days, send them across Mexico and see what happens.
