Games Masters – Celebrating Game Design

Have you felt nostalgic lately for the good ol’ days of arcade games, ’80s style? Or am I just way too old to be writing about this particular event?

This exhibition at Federation Square celebrates those whose work has been enjoyed by millions over the years, but don’t receive any recognition. Welcome to the artistry of the Video Game Designer.

Over 30 game designers’ games are showcased, from Metal Gear Solid, to Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda, and featuring full-body ’80s classics like Hang On, Dance Central 2, and a four-player version of Real Racing.

Be a part of the Game Designers’ art and world, which will feature special interviews, concept art and interactive displays. Of course, you’ll be able to play over 125 different games, so it won’t be your typical boring exhibition.
