1000 Pound Bend is capitalising on peoples’ urge to stay indoors during the cold winter months with its winter double feature series. We all like going to the movies, and as it’s free entry to see both the flicks being shown, it’s heaps better than paying $20 for one measly movie that you probably didn’t like anyway.
Every week has both recent and old movies of different genres playing, from art house, documentaries, blockbusters and a few audience choices, so there is a variety of movies being played.
This week’s double feature has a Mothers Day theme, playing Made in Dagenham and The Namesake. So take your mum along to show you appreciate all the cooking and laundry they do for you.
WHEN: Every Sunday from 6 May until 26 August, 6pm
WHERE: 1000 Pound Bend, 361 Lt Lonsdale Street, Melbourne (enter via Heape Court)
