With the Melbourne weather becoming increasingly frosty, it is all too easy to conjure up excuses to never have to leave the cosy confines of your house ever again. One minute you are phoning your boss to tell them you might just work from home for the day and then, before you know it, you’ve spent 72 hours in your pyjamas huddled beneath a doona subsisting on vegemite toast, cups of Earl Grey and YouTube videos. It’s a slippery slope. But despair not - from May 3, Brunswick’s Phoenix Public House will lure us out of hermitude with the introduction of lunch and free Wi-Fi! You can still have your hot beverages, and you can still waste heaps of time on the internet, but at least this way you can also nosh on something nutritious and delicious in convivial company. So put on your Public Pants and get down there!
WHEN: Thursday through Sunday from May 3, 11:30am - 3:30pm
