Q. What happens when three beer guys have enough of working in a ‘garage’ for ‘the man?’ *
A. Simple. They pack up, wave goodbye to Melbourne and start a brewery in Byron Bay, making the Pacific Ale, an instant Aussie classic.
Recently winning the best Australian Craft Beer Award, this ale is slightly cloudy and golden in colour, good carbonation with vibrant tropical fruit nose.
Great mouthfeel, with the tropical fruit from the nose carrying through to a sweetish mid palate. A drying lingering finish with just the right amount of bitterness leaves you wanting more. Fantastic use of the Australian hop variety, Galaxy, giving the beer aroma, flavour and bitterness.
This beer has enough going on keep seasoned beer drinkers happy, but is approachable enough to draw in a new batch of punters to the wonderful world of beer. An instant Aussie Classic.
* ’The Garage’ is the Matilda Bay Brewery in Dandenong. ‘The Man’ is CUB.
