Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin said “A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine.” Amen to that we say.
So when we got wind that in celebration of their 10th birthday Bottega are putting on the Battle of the Browns, where wine and food will be plenty, we got just a little bit excited.
The event will see two established wineries, All Saints Estate and Brown Brothers, competing for your palate with a range of wines perfectly paired to a five course Italian feast. There is also a chance to win a weekend away in Melbourne’s wine country if you rock a bit of brown attire on the night.
Food, wine and prizes sound all right to us.
