Oztrance’s 10th Anniversary

Oztrance is an internet forum established ten years ago to help outdoor “doof” (Australian outdoor electronic dance music parties) organisers and artists network online. It started in Melbourne and then developed a national community, allowing members to communicate with each other all over Australia on the subject of their culture, whereas before they didn’t have a media platform with which to stay in touch.

In the spirit of the night, all music played will be pre-2002 doof music, DJed by some of the forum’s key participants, some of whom have DJed psychedelic trance internationally. Players include Franny, Legohead. Ozzy, Chiba Bros, Petalien, Cpt Shiner, Dr Zaius and Psywise. The night is also Doof party crew Tribeadelic’s 16th birthday as well.

$10 before midnight, $15 after.

WHEN: Friday 29 June, 9:30pm-6am
WHERE: Brown Alley, 585 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
