Bell Shakespeare presents Macbeth

Bell Shakespeare is rolling the dice this June with Macbeth, the play whose name is associated with misfortune for any company that has the gall to stage it.
So far, no broken limbs or missing heads to report. What we can report is that Kate Mulvany is sumptuous and dangerous as the saucy, spot-hating Lady MacBeth, while Dan Spielman holds his own as the conflicted Scot.
With the lush production values and performances we’ve come to expect from Bell Shakespeare, The Bard’s Scottish play goes down easier than a side of haggis.
WHEN: Now until June 23
WHERE: The Arts Centre, Melbourne
