Looking for an affordable meat free dish on a Wednesday evening? Look no further than the Phoenix Public House’s Vege-turntables – a night of vegetarian/vegan friendly cooking and music.
Dishes range from menu $4 to $16.50, with stuff like fresh baba ghanoush, house vegetable tagine served on yellow vermicelli rice and eggplant salad and cabbage rolls filled with rice, chickpeas and tomato. Yum.
