Monroe’s

After great success in Healesville, Monroe’s Burgers and Beers has ventured out to the streets of St Kilda. Situated on the active Acland Street, the hustle and bustle of the popular area flows into the burger and beer restaurant.

Featuring a unique and fun menu, this burger spot is not one to miss. An array of beef, chicken, vegan and vegetarian burgers positioned inside milk buns fill the funky menu with delight. Monroe’s sides take a modern twist on the classics with carbonara gems, notorious P.I.G, cheeseburger fries and three cheese truffle fries to salivate the senses. Mac and cheese croquettes and onion rings are also among the broadly ranged menu.

The burgers not only look amazing but they have a taste to match. A refreshing take on the burger craze features a house-made patty and milk bun rather than the beloved brioche buns. The patties are cooked to perfection with fresh and delicious toppings and condiments to complement it. A tip for you: the burgers are a rather messy eat because they’re so juicy and filled with incredible sauces, so consider reaching for a second napkin.

Looking for something to wash down all the lusciousness? The extensive drink menu ranges from beers and ciders to adult milkshakes. If you are indecisive or want to try a few, Monroe’s provide a tasting paddle at a very affordable price. If you’re not keen on getting buzzed, sodas and non-alcoholic milkshakes are on the menu to quench your thirst.

The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant matches the style of menu with a modern and comfortable vibe. Featuring high bar stools, intimate tables and a large group table, this restaurant suits any occasion.

With an extensive beer and cider menu, the delicious drink selections pair well with the burger options to match in uniqueness and flavour. Grab your friends for a beer and burger at Monroe’s but get in early as this place picks up even on the weekdays!
