Stanley Burgers

Fun, modern, innovative, with a mouth-watering menu and stunning fit out is Scoresby’s newest, cosmopolitan burger joint, Stanley Burgers.

Owner Farid Masoud’s original idea came from a memory he had when he ate a delicious burger at Stanley Beach in his homeland of Alexandria, Egypt. This fond recollection, combined with a love for the beach, travelling and experiencing various cultures is the inspiration behind the menu and the coastal-chic interior. It’s therefore only fitting that each burger on offer has been carefully crafted and deftly designed to encapsulate the taste of a specific worldwide city.

Take the Amalfi, for example – named after the Amalfi Coast in Italy –  which tantalises our tastes with buttermilk fried chicken, aioli, slaw and melted American cheddar cheese lapping at our palette. We travelled around the globe and indulged in the delectable Chelsea, too, with pull-apart smoked slow cooked pork topped with kimchi slaw, lime aioli, caramelised onions, which had our taste buds awash with sensations.

However, the star of the menu is the aptly named, Stanley Burger, featuring a beef patty, buttermilk fried chicken, American cheddar cheese, lettuce, aioli, sriracha bacon, onion rings and of course, Stanley’s secret sauce injected through a syringe.

Even the sides offer international flavours that transport you to various locations. Enjoy the Escobar Fries with house-made chilli con carne, manchego cheese, guacamole and sour cream, or the Rhode Island Salad with green and red cabbage, carrot, quinoa puffs, seeds, mayonnaise and herbs for a lighter option.

No true burger joint is complete without loaded milkshakes and Stanley Burgers doesn’t disappoint. Try the cheekily named Pin-My-Colada, which has coconut ice cream, coconut milk, shredded coconut, toasted pineapple, bounty chocolate and pineapple lollies.

The venue has been carefully designed with a beach vibe in mind. Sandy tones, relaxing blues, pine benches and beach-like textures provide a friendly, vibrant and inviting oasis in suburban Scoresby.

No matter where in the world you’re from, you’ll be right at home, with a burger in hand, at Stanley Burgers.
