Tucked away in the back streets of up-and-coming Fairfield is the gorgeous café Two Fat Monks. With an open layout and family-friendly options, there is something for everyone. Two Fat Monks has an industrial layout with beautiful lighting and a relaxed vibe.

The café is complete with bar in the centre to enjoy those delicious breakfast cocktails. The breakfast cocktails include drinks such as the Goldentini which is a mix between an espresso martini and a chaitini and the Dirty Mary which is a take on a Bloody Mary but with a strip of bacon, two words: mouth watering!

The remarkable new menu includes breakfast, lunch and as of recently dinner for Friday and Saturday until 9pm. New menu items for the hungry brunch seeker contain all day breakfast options such as corn fritters and twisted up avocado smash. Astounding lunch menu items include 65-degree chicken and delectable mushroom risotto.

Looking for something smaller to share? Two Fat Monks offers a sharing menu after 12pm, which include fabulous menu items such as truffled potato croquettes, chargrilled baby octopus and spicy meatballs. Yum!

With the new menu items, there is something for the whole family to choose. For the picky or allergic eater, Two Fat Monks can provide alternative options. The open kitchen gives diners the option to peek in which gives a great open and overall feel to the café. Each cake, pastry and bread is made on-site in the new bakery addition. This adds to the cosy feel knowing your delicious pastries are fresh and made in house.

Located just off busy Station Street in Fairfield, the perfect spot to escape the busy bustle. The bare brick walls and open lighting give a cozy and comforting feel.

Two Fat Monks is planning to add an in-house coffee roastery, which will have coffee lovers swooning to the delicious aroma of the freshest brew in town.
