Design for Mirabel

Ten of Austrlia’s finest interior designers will be taking over a warehouse in North Melbourne in the name of design and charity.

Design for Mirabel is a very special annual benefit where each designer will create an amazing, inspirational room to raise funds for The Mirabel Foundation.

Haven’t heard of the charity before? Well you’ll be glad you have now.

Established in Victoria 1998 by Jane Rowe, it is the only organisation in Australia specifically addressing the needs of children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use.

All of the proceeds raised from the inaugural Design for Mirabel event will be put towards building a new Mirabel Home.

Rowe, CEO of the foundation said, “It’s always been a dream to have our own premises in Melbourne. A building that serves not only as the office and headquarters for the Mirabel team but also a place where Mirabel children, young people and their carers can drop by at any time. Somewhere for us all to call home.”

The event runs over three days and each room will be filled with new merchandise kindly donated by Australian and international brands. All interiors will then be sold for 50 – 70 percent off the retail pricing.

It’ll be money worth spending.

Saturday 26th July 10:00am – 2:00pm
