Spoonbill Restaurant and Bar is the newish restaurant attached to The Olsen, mothership of the Art Series Hotels.
Befitting such an arty surrounding they’re hosting a somewhat swanky deconstructed cocktail degustation this Sunday. It works like this. The Spoonbill team will be breaking down five cocktails and matching them with food. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to eat and drink it all.
There’ll be stuff like Mojitos with snapper tacos, Espresso Martinis with pepper crusted venison and Long Island Iced Teas with seared duck breast.
I can think of worse ways to spend a Sunday arvo.
