The “100″ in 100 Story Building does not mean it’s ridiculously tall building, but is trying to help hundreds of peoples’ stories get out there for the public to hear. A new social enterprise and centre for young writers, 100 Story Building is designed to help build the literacy skills and confidence of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as help the creative youth of Melbourne learn the finer points of writing to express themselves even more fluently. It’s having a launch party hosted by Triple R’s Ben Birchall and authors Alice Pung and Sally Rippin, where the program will be explained.

WHEN: Tuesday 30 October, 7:30pm-8:15pm
WHERE: The Wheeler Centre, 176 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
