Allergies and food intolerance are now so commonplace that many eateries now clearly state their gluten-free and dairy-free options on their menu.

It therefore comes as no surprise that Victoria and Tasmania now have a Gluten Free Expo, taking place at Caulfield Racecourse on Saturday 15 September.

Organised by Coeliac Victoria and Tasmania Inc, the expo will showcase gluten-free products for people with coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity, with industry experts on hand to offer advice on learning how to manage the disease.

There will be guest speakers at the event, including Dr. Sue Shepherd, one of the world’s leading dietitians for the treatment of dietary intolerances. Coeliac specialists Dr Jason Tye-Din and Gerald Quigley, Pharmacist and Master Herbalist, will also be at the expo to discuss coeliac disease.

Tickets are $10, available online, or at the venue from 8.30am. Children enter for free.

WHEN: Saturday 15 September, 9:30am-4:00pm
WHERE: Caulfield Racecourse Grandstand
