I normally dedicate Tuesday evenings to washing my hair and watching Lara Bingle. But for the next two Tuesdays, Melbourne band The Grand Rapids will be setting up camp in the Tote front bar, so smoke machines and sticky floors beckon.
I’ve not heard these good folk play before but according to their Myspace profile you are in for a “60s beat fever beat up psychosomatic psych out”. And who am I to argue with that.
There’ll be some special guests along for the ride and entry is free.
Don’t pretend you’ve got a better offer.
WHEN: 8pm, Tuesday 14 & 21 August
WHERE: The Tote Hotel, 71 Johnston Street, Collingwood
