Every Thursday fortnight, local northside friends and music crew – Lowkey – put on a free showcase of underground DJs and producers who do their beats for the love of it.
This event has featured many known producers of the local scene, including Aoi, Bristronics, Sam I am, Mish’chief, Wyldcard, DJ Sizzle, Able8, and event organiser Warpa!nt. It’s a warm, safe place where anyone can go to feel at home during the week, and there’s always a great, homely atmosphere there.
Frequent residents include Ghostsoul, Shuttersound, Kayhat, Babushkabot and Rolex Bifta. This event is always free and is now a regular fixture of quality beats on the north side of town.
WHEN: Thursday fortnights, 13/27 August, 7-11pm
WHERE: Thornbury Local, 635 High Street, Thornbury
