Xavier Morel – Techno at its finest

French artist, Xavier Morel, is a long-time veteran DJ, producer and techno enthusiast since 1976. He is known worldwide for his dark and deep take on the techno genre, which keeps its original take on electronic dance music with 4-4 timing and jackin’ beats. He represents famed underground label, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, has played all over the globe, and has collaborated with other luminaries such as Juno Reactor and Eat Static.

The electronic music crew who are running the show, Machine, have had a long-running series of 100% techno events playing monthly at MyAeon in Brunswick. Also featured for your listening pleasure are long-time local guns; Simon Slieker, Andrew Till, Simon Sakkas and Dee Dee, who will take you on a journey through the Machine’s core, showing organic progression and soul with electronica on the steady-pulsing tip. Their main aim is composition within their sets, and to tell stories through use of aural craft.
