According to the Urban Dictionary there are really only four ways to literally kill two birds with one stone, but I am certainly not here to talk about birds. What I am here to talk about is the 5th annual Sacred Heart Mission Heart Of St Kilda Concert. Now this is an event which will enable you to, metaphorically speaking, kill two birds with one stone. You can get your fix of great live music and comedy and at the same time help support the very worthy Sacred Heart Mission, whose work in the community provides food, clothing, emergency relief, accommodation and companionship to those in crisis. Win win.
This one-off spectacular will be hosted by Brian Nankervis and feature performers such as Lanie Lane, Lawrence Mooney, Tim Rogers, Fiona O’Laughlin, Cal Wilson and Stonefield. It’ll be an entirely less horrid way to spend an evening than chucking rocks at the local fauna.
WHEN: Wednesday 18 July, 7pm
WHERE: Palais Theatre, St Kilda
