Permanent Press – 100% Live Australian Electronica
Posted by Kristian Hatton
05. Jul, 2012
One of this year’s most anticipated electronic dance music (EDM) events hits the Laundry Bar for Friday the thirteenth. Seven acts over six hours will saturate the venue with bass music of the most futuristic kind, and will show that Australia is a force to be reckoned with internationally.
Shifteq makes his way down from northern NSW to rep his funky glitch-hop cuts for his first exclusive show in Melbourne. He plays with Sixbux Productions teammates Dysphemic & Miss Eliza, internationally acclaimed for their winning combination of Dysphemic’s gnarly bass production and Miss Eliza’s searing violin juxtaposition.
Also featured live are producers Aoi, Warpa!nt, Trimaxis, Ghostsoul and DJ Wasabi, all of whom have a high standard of electronica that is being recognised all over the world. Combine this with Alt Esc Del’s amazing visuals and the Laundry’s quad 18” subwoofers and you have a recipe for success. Entry is $15, don’t miss out.
WHEN: Friday 13 July, 9pm-3am
WHERE: The Laundry Bar (upstairs), 48-50 Johnson Street, Fitzroy
