The makers of the award winning The West Winds Gin are at it again with their new brew Ginstitution. The launch of this new spirit does not only have a cool name, but will be exactly what the name suggests: an educational institution all about gin.

While you get to try out all the various flavours of gin available, as well as the tasty treats from the St Ali kitchen, you’ll hear plenty about the history of the spirit you’re downing. For instance, it was essentially used as medicine while simultaneously also considered a dangerous substance to the world, much like how heroin is considered today. But don’t worry, there won’t be an exam on all this, so no need to take notes.

Tickets are $49 each and it’s an over 18s event, so you can have all the gin you want without having to worry about any little ones running around.
