There’s plenty more to German cinema than Das Boot and porn. For the rest of April the Como and Kino while be screening some of the best emerging celluloid talent to come out of Germany.

Our picks include Peak, a gorgeously shot doco that looks at the eco-challenges faced by residents of The Alps, Gerhard Richter – Painting, for a look at the reclusive (and pricky) artist, plus the German Shorts program.
