69 Smith St – Artist Run Gallery
Posted by Kate Ballard
19. Apr, 2012
Last Saturday marked the launch of the latest exhibition at 69 Smith St in Fitzroy. The artists of the moment are Brendan Parkes, Keiko Murakami, Bernadette Boundy, Sally D’Orsogna, Susan Lock, Greg Neville and Margot Sharman.
Pieces in the current showing are varied – from black and white etchings and vibrant mixed medium pieces, all the way to sweet photos of the Smurfs and images from vintage kids books.
The gallery itself is a lovely little artist run space doing its darndest to support our best and brightest visual artists.
It’s Fitzroy, it’s art, and we’re Melbournians, so throw on a black turtleneck and go check it out.
WHEN: Now until 29 April
WHERE: 69 Smith Street, Fitzroy
