Arrested Development at ACMI

There are two stages of most people’s lives: Before Arrested Development and After Arrested Development. The cult TV show about The Bluths is worth every gushing caveat and award it scoops, and if you haven’t seen it yet grab the box set and clear your events calendar this weekend.

For those that love the show (and we are many) ACMI is holding a panel on all things Arrested Development with local devotees like Clem Bastow, Jess McGuire from 3RRR and Time Out’s Martyn Pedler. A mix of entertainment, discussion (and more than a decent dose of speculation about the upcoming movie), ACMI gives you the chance to channel that inner Bluth or Blue Man this Thursday.

WHEN: Thurs 29 March @ 7pm
WHERE: Studio 1, Federation Square

Art & Design

Open House Melbourne

This weekend over 100 Melbourne buildings are opening their doors giving a glimpse behind the facade.

Meet the Architours

Three Melbournians who work, live and breath architecture are sharing their knowledge in a series of walking tours. We tag along.

Love and Devotion at The State Library

There's always plenty to love in Melbourne - including a new exhibition at the State Library documenting the great love stories of Persia. Good for those with 1000 nights, or an hour to spare.

Food and Drink

Archie Green

At 10 Katherine Place, in what used to be an abandoned office, sits Paul Hourigan’s ‘love letter to Melbourne’, otherwise known as Archie Green, and one of Melbourne's hottest eateries.

Twenty Pho Seven

Twenty Pho Seven is Australia’s first 24-hour pho restaurant and it is quite simply pho you.

Juliet Melbourne

Juliet Melbourne, the new basement bar from owner Martin Pirc, is an ode to the female winemakers, spirit makers and producers lacking the recognition they deserve in the hospitality industry.
