Sure it’s autumn, the days are getting shorter and daylight saving’s about go the north soon, but don’t despair cause festival season swoops upon us. Now in its 26 year the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is going all guns blazing, and over the next four weeks will be spitting out local and international acts quicker than a Chris Rock one-liner.

Plenty of hits and misses along the way but that’s part of the fun, as well as seeing normally off-limits bits of places like Melbourne Town Hall. Some of the acts we’ll be trying to get tix for include Wanda Sykes (US), Daniel Kitson (UK) as well as local acts Sammy J and This is Siberian Husky.

Get thy pencils ready and start making your laugh list now.
