There isn’t a more wholesome way to start off your Sunday than a visit to Camberwell Market. That is unless you go after 10.30am when the place becomes clogged like John Candy’s arteries, you can’t move and end up getting stuck in-between a screaming child and a pan flute busker playing Simon & Garfunkel.
But if you go early you’re liable to pick up anything from an old He-Man toy to a vintage suit and a stuffed duck. There’s food vans with donuts and bad coffee that’s all part of the fun. Get in early, get out and go back to bed.
WHEN: Every Sunday from the crack of dawn
WHERE: In the carpark between Burke Rd and Station St, Camberwell
