Don’t feel like cooking after that long day of work on Monday? The Workers Club has your back with their new retro fish and chips night. There’s dim sims, potato cakes, burgers with the lot and pickled onions all going for a song. And unlike traditional chippies’, you can get a beer and a gig too.

If you want to continue the cheap night head down Brunnie to Screen Sect at Bar Open, where cult films screen every Monday from 8pm.

WHERE: The Workers Club, cnr Brunswick and Getrude Sts, Fitzroy
WHEN: Every Monday from 5.30pm – 9.30pm
