SYDNEY ROAD STREET PARTY
It takes something big to stop the mighty Sydney Road, and this is it. The Annual Sydney Rd Street party is here again. This Sunday, join the friendly citizens of Moreland for one of the biggest multicultural gatherings in Melbourne. Roots music, African beats, street performers and singer-songwriters all day, with a dedicated stage for each. There’s even a Vegan Bake Off at The Radical Grocer. Don’t miss it.

STYLE AFTER DARK
Fashionistas will want to check out the alternative fashion market Style After Dark in South Melbourne. Stalls will be selling locally-designed clothing, accessories, jewellery and headwear, plus there’ll be food and drink from the resident Spanish, Italian and Middle Eastern restaurants. Musicians too.

CATALONIA CALLING
All the way from the Spanish city of Catalonia comes the fourth Made in Catalonia Film Festival at Cinema Nova. From coming of age drama Heroes: Forever Young, to autism documentary Maria and I and the raw drama Elisa K, this Spanish film fest has a little bit of something for everyone. Like tapas (or pinxtos).
