Today’s the last day you can get your fix at Biero, the little bar that packs a mighty beery punch, before it re-locates to a rooftop in Chinatown later this year.
Why should you go? More than just stocking one of Melbourne’s best selections of local and imported beers, the owners (ex-Melb Uni beer swilling students) have created BeerVaults, a world first beer delivery system that allows any beer available to be ‘on tap’ by extracting beer from the bottles to pressure controlled cylinders, looming tantalisingly above the bar.
I don’t exactly know how it works, but I do know the beers taste good, and with a massive range spanning Aussie and US micro-brews to the extreme beers of Mikkeller, there’s a little bit of something for everyone. At least until they close.
Get in while you can.

Beginning today, the Builders Arms is being reshaped by a bunch of artists with a new design, menu, music, screenings and cheaper booze. Yes, cheaper booze.
As the mercury nudges 30C quench your hard earned thirst at the Microbrewery Showcase this week.
Beer, trivia, prizes, food, music, more beer. What more could you want in a night? Cake? There's cake.
