Pot Luck: Hefe Weizen by Bridge Road Brewers

Anyone whose been to the great German beer halls would know Heffeweizen, the cloudy wheat beer brewed to be drunk in the midst of giant pretzels, serving wenches, accordion music and lederhosen.
Bridge Road Brewers have come up with their own version of the German favourite with their Hefe-Weizen. Brewer Ben Kraus learned to brew in Innsbruck, Austria and has brought back his boozy lessons in this easy drinking beer.
Made from ingredients sourced from Germany (including a yeast from the country’s oldest brewery) this award winning brew has notes of banana and clove with a clean malty finish.
Enjoy with lemon on a sunny day and life’s pretty good.
Hefe Weizen is available at good beer shops and pubs around Melbourne.
