Pot Luck – Royal Wedding Edition

Pot Luck is normally dedicated to showcasing Australian craft beers, but on the eve of Will and Kate’s impending nuptials we thought we’d have a look at a limited edition beer being specially brewed for the event – The Royal Virility Performance.

Produced by Scotland’s BrewDog (the brewery responsible for beers like Sink The Bismark! an IPA with a whopping 32% alcohol content) this limited edition beer contains herbal viagra and, according to the specially commissioned label, is brewed with “several well known aphrodisiacs and a healthy dose of sarcasm”. It has also been called ‘the boner beer’.

The 7.5% India Pale Ale is being limited to 1000 bottles, with all proceeds going to charity. And while you can’t pick it up at Dan’s, BrewDog’s website will start shipping orders from April 29th. The perfect gift to raise the bar on any occasion, especially the marriage of Prince Willy.
